What is a Chemical peel?
Chemical peel treatments provide excellent results in reducing acne, pigmentation, texture, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and scars while boosting collagen and elastin production to help maintain skin health. They can renew the skin at all depths, whether the concerns are light, medium, or deep. Depending on the skin concern and condition, we will determine which Western and or Korean peel is the best fit for you. We offer superficial peels that will cause little to no peeling and medium-depth peels that will provide deeper resurfacing that addresses more advanced concerns. 

Where to start?
Before any chemical peel is performed, all clients must schedule a consultation to be sure your skin is properly assessed and you are placed on a tailored skincare routine for a minimum of 3 weeks with products approved by Desteni to be sure the skin barrier is intact and the skin is prepped for the chemical peel to be performed in the safest way possible and achieve optimal results. If the skin isn't prepped properly before the peel, it's more likely that the skin will be irritated, and you may not gain the best results.  

How often can a chemical peel be performed?
Single treatments are beneficial to anyone looking to refresh the skin and receive a deeper exfoliation, however we recommend a series of 3-6 peels to correct advanced concerns. All Peels carried at Your Skin's Desteni are year-around safe!
